Responsibilities
- Design, install, and configure Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) with a focus on high availability and security.
- Perform routine network maintenance and upgrades, including firmware updates and hardware replacements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network connectivity issues, including VoIP, routing, and switching.
- Document network configurations, changes, and procedures to ensure compliance and knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with the IT support team to deliver technical solutions and assist with user escalations.
- Conduct network audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement necessary security protocols.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in network administration or technical support.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is a strong plus.
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and VLANs.
- Experience with cabling standards (Cat6, fiber optics) and wireless networking (Wi-Fi 6).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
