Position includes remote flexibility with 3 days/week in our state-of-the-art San Jose Security Operations Center (SOC), cutting-edge training resources, and direct exposure to CISO-level initiatives. You'll collaborate with world-class professionals while safeguarding Fortune 100 clients' digital assets.
Responsibilities
- Lead incident response and threat hunting operations using SIEM platforms (Splunk/QRadar)
- Develop and execute vulnerability management programs including patch prioritization
- Conduct advanced network forensics and malware analysis for security incidents
- Design and implement security controls for cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into DevOps pipelines
- Produce executive-level security dashboards and threat intelligence reports
- Mentor junior analysts and drive continuous improvement in SOC processes
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with proven SOC/IR experience
- Certifications: CISSP, GCIH, or equivalent required
- Expertise in threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, STIX)
- Hands-on experience with EDR/XDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Deep understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance requirements
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure incident response scenarios
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
