Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and PRTG tools
- Implement security protocols including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Document network topologies and create maintenance schedules
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network outages and cyber incidents
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment procurement and service contracts
- Train junior technicians on network best practices
Qualifications
- Associate degree in IT or equivalent experience required
- CCNA certification or equivalent network expertise
- 3+ years experience with LAN/WAN infrastructure
- Proficiency in Windows Server and Active Directory
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and OSI model
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) preferred
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites
