Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using advanced diagnostic tools provided by the company
- Troubleshoot network issues and implement effective solutions with supplied testing equipment
- Document network configurations and changes using provided documentation systems
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement security protocols using company-provided tools
- Support VoIP systems and wireless network infrastructure with company-provided test equipment
- Train junior staff on network operations using company-provided training resources
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds) provided by company
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN configurations
- Experience with network security protocols (VPN, ACLs, firewalls)
- Ability to work with company-provided diagnostic hardware effectively
- Valid driver's license for equipment transport when required
