Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Perform routine network maintenance, including firmware updates, patch management, and hardware upgrades.
- Monitor network performance, traffic, and security to prevent unauthorized access and downtime.
- Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement new network solutions and infrastructure projects.
- Respond to and resolve network connectivity issues and technical support tickets.
- Document network configurations, diagrams, and technical procedures accurately.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls (e.g., ASA, ISR).
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Experience with wireless networking (WLAN) and access control is a plus.
