Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco/Juniper network equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Implement security protocols including VPNs, ACLs, and intrusion detection systems
- Document network architecture and create SOPs for operational procedures
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex network outages and performance issues
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid infrastructure solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- CCNA/CCNP certification required (CCIE preferred)
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN implementation
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela, VMware VeloCloud)
- Proficiency in network automation (Python, Ansible)
- Strong analytical skills with network packet analysis experience
- Valid Nevada driver's license for occasional client site visits
