Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Resolve network outages and security incidents with SLA-driven efficiency
- Document network topology, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on vulnerability assessments
- Implement VoIP solutions and wireless network optimizations
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or CompTIA Network+ certification (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper equipment
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
- Strong knowledge of network security best practices (ACLs, VPNs)
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN solutions
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with diagnostic tools
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
