Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues across LAN/WAN environments
- Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to resolve complex network-related incidents
- Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects and upgrades
- Conduct regular network audits to optimize performance and identify vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience in enterprise environments
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required (CCNP preferred)
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto Networks technologies
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to diagnose complex network issues
- Valid California driver's license for occasional on-site client visits
