Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Implement security protocols and perform vulnerability assessments
- Document network configurations and create maintenance reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to deploy network solutions
- Provide technical support to end-users via ticket system
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., NIST, CIS)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto devices
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work flexible hours including on-call duties
- Valid driver's license for occasional site visits
