Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test scripts to identify software defects
- Document test cases, results, and bugs in JIRA with clear, actionable details
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
- Perform regression testing to ensure new features don't impact existing functionality
- Analyze product requirements and suggest improvements to test coverage
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide quality-focused input
- Maintain and update test documentation for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in software QA testing (manual and/or automated)
- Proficiency with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail) and defect tracking
- Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies
- Experience writing detailed test cases and test plans
- Basic knowledge of SQL and API testing (Postman/RestAssured)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
