Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and Nagios
- Diagnose and resolve LAN/WAN connectivity issues
- Implement security protocols (VPN, ACLs, IDS/IPS)
- Document network changes using Visio and ServiceNow
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid cloud integrations
- Support VoIP systems and wireless network optimization
Qualifications
- Associate degree in IT/Network Engineering or equivalent experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- 3+ years enterprise network administration experience
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configuration
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
- Familiarity with Python for automation scripting
- Experience with AWS/Azure cloud networking services
