Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust AWS/Azure/GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize cloud environments for cost efficiency, performance, and security compliance (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Lead cloud migration projects for enterprise clients, ensuring zero-downtime transitions
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
- Implement advanced security protocols including IAM policies, VPC design, and encryption strategies
- Document architecture blueprints and create runbooks for operational procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with deep expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Professional certification (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Engineer, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and configuration management
- Strong background in Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE) and container orchestration
- Experience with multi-cloud environments and hybrid cloud architectures
- Demonstrated success in optimizing cloud spend and implementing FinOps practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
- Strong communication skills for client-facing stakeholder management
