Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to internal employees via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting printers, laptops, and operating systems.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of desktop environments and mobile devices.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access to network resources.
- Monitor system performance and alert the team to potential outages or security threats.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement software updates and security patches.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or holding an Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Basic understanding of PC hardware components and software installation processes.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP) is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Willingness to obtain industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) during the training period.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work flexible hours during peak periods.
