As our Future Technology Strategist, you'll identify emerging trends, develop forward-looking roadmaps, and lead cross-functional teams to execute cutting-edge projects. You'll bridge the gap between today's capabilities and tomorrow's possibilities, ensuring our organization remains an industry leader in the rapidly evolving tech ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) for strategic adoption
- Develop comprehensive 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-generation solutions (AR/VR, IoT, decentralized systems)
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for breakthrough research
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board with data-driven impact assessments
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record in scaling disruptive innovations from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or synthetic biology
- Certified in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFS) or equivalent methodology
- Prior experience with futures modeling tools (e.g., Delphi method, scenario planning)
- PhD in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry breakthroughs
- Portfolio of executed transformational projects with measurable impact
