Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech integration)
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype and validate disruptive solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, CERN, and other innovation hubs
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough technologies in sustainable computing
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and board members using immersive VR analytics
- Mentor a team of 15+ specialists in emerging tech disciplines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in future-tech domains
- Published research in Nature/Science on AI, quantum systems, or sustainable tech
- Proven track record launching products with >$100M ARR
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Security clearance for government-contracted R&D projects
