Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy aligned with business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, blockchain, AR/VR) for commercial viability
- Lead R&D initiatives for next-gen products and services with $5M+ annual budget
- Present technology roadmaps to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation lab team of 10+ specialists
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products (quantum/AI projects preferred)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations
- Strong project management with PMP or similar certification
- Experience with agile methodologies and lean innovation
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or conferences
