Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech interfaces)
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies through market analysis and academic partnerships
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption success and innovation ROI measurement
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with vendor negotiations and resource allocation
- Represent company at global tech summits and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record in emerging tech adoption (quantum, AI, blockchain, or biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Certification in Agile/Scrum and technology management frameworks
