Responsibilities

- Analyze patent landscapes and competitor innovation strategies
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate future tech into product roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget for experimental projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership (Fortune 500 or startup experience)
- Expertise in forecasting emerging tech trends (Gartner hype cycle mastery)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough innovations
- Strong network within Silicon Valley research institutions
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or similar journals
