Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance options pricing engines and risk management systems.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts and traders to implement complex mathematical models for European and American options.
- Optimize existing codebases to reduce latency and improve throughput in high-frequency trading environments.
- Build and maintain robust APIs for frontend visualization and backend data ingestion.
- Conduct code reviews, perform unit testing, and ensure system reliability and security.
- Stay abreast of emerging financial technologies and contribute to architectural decisions.
Qualifications
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on low-latency systems or financial applications.
- Strong proficiency in Python and C++ (or similar high-performance languages).
- Deep understanding of equity options, derivatives pricing (Black-Scholes, Monte Carlo), and market microstructure.
- Experience with distributed systems, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and databases (PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
