Responsibilities
- Collect and Clean Data: Gather raw data from various sources and ensure it is accurate, consistent, and formatted for analysis.
- Perform Statistical Analysis: Use SQL, Python, or Excel to perform statistical analysis and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Report Generation: Create comprehensive reports and presentations that summarize findings and provide strategic recommendations to management.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, operations) to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Monitor Trends: Continuously monitor data sources to ensure data integrity and identify new opportunities for data-driven improvements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience for entry-level candidates).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (strongly preferred) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP). Familiarity with Python, R, or Tableau is a plus.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into clear, concise, and actionable business insights.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Remote Work: Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and the discipline to work effectively from home.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when handling sensitive data and performing repetitive analysis tasks.
