Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using provided SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing with supplied tools (Nessus, Burp Suite)
- Incident response coordination using forensic workstations and digital evidence kits
- Implement and maintain firewall configurations with provided Cisco/Palo Alto gear
- Develop security documentation and playbooks using provided endpoint protection solutions
- Collaborate with IT teams using supplied network analyzers (Wireshark, Fiddler)
- Stay current with threat intelligence via provided research platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations with hands-on tool experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security platforms
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with threat hunting and malware analysis
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
