Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Alerts: Utilize SIEM tools to detect, analyze, and respond to potential cyber threats and security incidents in real-time.
- Incident Response Support: Assist senior analysts in investigating suspicious activities, conducting triage, and documenting findings.
- System Hardening: Work with the infrastructure team to ensure systems, networks, and applications are secured against vulnerabilities.
- Log Analysis: Review system logs and security data to identify patterns and anomalies that could indicate a breach.
- User Access Management: Help manage user permissions and access controls to ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Security Awareness Training: Participate in and support internal security awareness programs and training sessions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. (Graduates with 0-2 years of experience are also encouraged to apply).
- Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and a logical approach to identifying security gaps.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
- Tools: Familiarity with security concepts (Firewalls, VPNs, Antivirus) is a plus.
- Passion: A genuine interest in cybersecurity and a willingness to obtain industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+).
