Responsibilities
- Network Maintenance: Install, configure, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and wireless network equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor network performance and traffic to ensure 99.9% uptime and identify potential bottlenecks.
- Technical Support: Provide second-level support for network-related issues and collaborate with the Help Desk team to resolve complex user queries.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of network configurations, cabling diagrams, and change logs.
- Upgrades: Assist in the planning and execution of network infrastructure upgrades and migrations.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: Cisco CCNA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in network administration and troubleshooting.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and subnetting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
