Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk/Sentinel) for threat detection and incident triage
- Conduct forensic investigations and malware analysis using tools like Wireshark and FTK
- Develop playbooks for ransomware, APT, and DDoS response scenarios
- Perform vulnerability assessments across cloud/on-prem infrastructures
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement zero-trust architectures
- Generate executive security dashboards and compliance reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or threat intelligence roles
- Active CISSP, Security+, or GIAC certification (required)
- Proficiency in Python/PowerShell for automation scripting
- Experience with MITRE ATT&CK framework implementation
- Knowledge of AWS/Azure security services and cloud security posture management
- TS/SCI clearance preferred (or ability to obtain)
