Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and forensic investigations for security incidents
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Generate comprehensive incident response reports and executive summaries
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry trends (MITRE ATT&CK framework)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC/operations environment
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required (CEH/GCIH preferred)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and network security technologies
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to prioritize under pressure
- BS/BA in Computer Science, IT, or related field (equivalent experience accepted)
