Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools and correlate data to identify potential threats
- Conduct forensic investigations on security incidents and prepare detailed reports
- Implement and maintain security controls across network infrastructure
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and CIS frameworks
- Develop threat intelligence dashboards and provide actionable insights
- Participate in penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Train staff on security best practices and incident response protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or related IT security roles
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and network security tools
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Experience with incident response procedures and malware analysis
- Ability to work rotating shifts and respond to off-hours emergencies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
