Join our dynamic data team at Nexus Analytics Solutions as a Weekend Shift Data Analyst! We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to transform complex datasets into actionable insights while enjoying a balanced work-life schedule with our weekend shift option. As a key contributor, you'll drive data-driven decisions across finance, operations, and customer experience initiatives. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates outside the Illinois area. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days in our Washington, IL office and 1 remote day per week.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for stakeholder reporting
- Develop automated data pipelines to ensure real-time data accuracy and accessibility
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and track performance metrics
- Present findings to executive leadership with clear, actionable recommendations
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous validation and documentation practices
- Support ad-hoc analysis requests for business-critical projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Strong statistical knowledge and experience with hypothesis testing
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex data for non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday 6am-2pm)
- Portfolio demonstrating data analysis projects with tangible business impact
