Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) large datasets from various sources to ensure high-quality, reliable data for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data sets.
- Dashboard Development: Create interactive and visually compelling dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly reports that summarize findings and provide actionable recommendations to the management team.
- SQL Optimization: Write efficient SQL queries to retrieve data and optimize database performance for reporting needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product and engineering teams to define data requirements and support A/B testing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation.
- Visualization: Experience creating dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to interpret complex data and translate it into simple, actionable business insights.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present findings to non-technical audiences.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the tech or e-commerce sector.
- Tools: Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with cloud data warehouses (AWS Redshift/Glue) is a plus.
