Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight).
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network security devices, including firewalls and proxies.
- Enforce company security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Perform security audits and log reviews to detect suspicious activities and unauthorized access.
- Collaborate with IT operations and development teams to remediate vulnerabilities and patch systems.
- Provide security awareness training to employees to reduce phishing risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in SOC analysis or network security administration.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols, VPNs, and encryption standards.
- Experience with Linux/Windows system administration and scripting (Python or Bash).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
