Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to potential threats
- Conduct forensic investigations of security incidents and implement remediation protocols
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across enterprise networks
- Develop and maintain security documentation including incident response playbooks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats and regulatory compliance requirements (NIST, HIPAA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Valid driver's license for occasional on-site security assessments
