Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with 15-minute SLA
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement firewall rules and IDS/IPS configurations
- Document security incidents and maintain audit trails
- Collaborate with NOC teams during critical incidents
- Stay updated on emerging threats via threat intelligence feeds
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or SOC analyst role
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Experience with Windows/Linux environments and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Strong analytical skills and incident response experience
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Weekend shift availability (Friday-Sunday, 12-hour shifts)
