Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during weekend shifts
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement zero-trust architectures
- Document security incidents and maintain compliance with NIST frameworks
- Provide after-hours incident response leadership during critical outages
- Contribute to continuous improvement of security detection capabilities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SOC operations focus
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong understanding of network protocols and attack vectors
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Ability to work independently during high-pressure weekend shifts
- Excellent written communication for incident reporting
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
