Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Investigate security breaches, contain threats, and document incident responses.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure infrastructure deployment.
- Perform regular audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and emerging threats.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and VPNs.
- Experience with security tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or similar SIEM platforms.
- CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
