Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems, networks, and applications for vulnerabilities and incidents
- Investigate security breaches, analyze attack vectors, and implement remediation strategies
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and incident response plans
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend security improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity or IT security role with hands-on experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and security protocols
- Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, and encryption technologies
- Experience with incident response and threat mitigation procedures
