Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security systems to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities in real-time.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to ensure system integrity.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware analysis and root cause determination.
- Implement and manage security controls, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch systems and remediate security gaps promptly.
- Prepare and present detailed security reports to stakeholders and executive management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, network administration, or IT security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance regulations.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint protection platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
