Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for real-time threat detection and incident response
- Conduct forensic investigations of security breaches and cyber attacks
- Develop/implement intrusion detection systems and vulnerability management protocols
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch critical vulnerabilities within SLAs
- Generate executive-level security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Lead tabletop exercises for incident response preparedness
- Manage phishing simulation programs and security awareness campaigns
Qualifications
- 3+ years hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC operations
- Certified CISSP, Security+, or GIAC (GCIH/GCS preferred)
- Expertise in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Proficiency in Linux/Windows environments and scripting (Python/Bash)
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 coverage
