Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration testing to ensure system integrity and compliance.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, conducting post-incident analysis and root cause remediation.
- Enforce security policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to industry standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HIPAA.
- Manage and configure firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and access controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis, SOC operations, or network security.
- Proficiency with security tools, including SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability scanners.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security architectures.
