As a key member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you'll monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents while implementing cutting-edge defense strategies. Ideal candidates will thrive in fast-paced environments and possess hands-on experience with threat intelligence and incident response.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and analyze network traffic using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct forensic investigations on security incidents and generate detailed incident reports
- Implement vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including playbooks and response procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Provide 24/7 incident response support during rotational on-call shifts
- Conduct security awareness training for employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in security tools: IDS/IPS, firewalls, EDR solutions
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and common attack vectors
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (e.g., Recorded Future, AlienVault)
- Ability to work under pressure during high-severity incidents
- Valid US government security clearance preferred
