Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activities and threat indicators
- Conduct forensic investigations of security incidents and coordinate incident response protocols
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and maintain security dashboards, reports, and metrics for executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats, attack vectors, and industry compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (AlienVault, Recorded Future)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to prioritize security incidents under pressure
