Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, IBM QRadar) to detect potential intrusions.
- Conduct thorough incident response and remediation activities following established playbooks.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and configure network security appliances, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry regulations such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and NIST.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or a similar IT role.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and scripting languages (Python/Bash).
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and endpoint protection platforms.
