Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for security incidents and anomalies
- Conduct threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK framework methodologies
- Lead incident response lifecycle: detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for common attack vectors
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Generate executive-level security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or security analysis role
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and network security protocols
- Hands-on experience with incident response tools (Splunk, Wireshark)
- Knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards (HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail under pressure
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
