Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) for security anomalies and investigate alerts
- Conduct threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence feeds
- Perform incident response including containment, eradication, and recovery
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and harden systems
- Generate detailed incident reports and executive security summaries
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing coordination
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- Industry certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC preferred)
- Expertise in network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with SIEM platforms and threat intelligence platforms
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
