In this role, you will be the guardian of our data integrity, working alongside world-class engineers to defend against sophisticated cyber threats.

At Apex, we believe in a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. You will have the autonomy to implement cutting-edge security protocols and mentor junior analysts, driving the maturity of our security posture. If you are passionate about cybersecurity and want to make a significant impact in a thriving tech hub, this is your opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough incident investigations and coordinate rapid response efforts to minimize downtime and data exposure.
  • Perform regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to proactively identify security gaps.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for security policies, incident response playbooks, and compliance reporting (ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Collaborate with development and IT teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
  • Stay abreast of the latest threat intelligence and emerging cyberattack methodologies to recommend proactive defense strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field; Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly valued.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or threat intelligence.
  • Strong proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, Elastic, LogRhythm) and EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
  • Experience with scripting (Python or PowerShell) for automation and log analysis.
