Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents and coordinate effective incident response efforts.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and manage patch management cycles to reduce risk exposure.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement and maintain security controls and best practices.
- Stay current on emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to proactively enhance our defense posture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a cybersecurity role or SOC environment.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security architecture.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and security tools.
