Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using Splunk, QRadar, and Sentinel SIEM platforms
- Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate incident response
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for threat detection and mitigation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-premise systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Generate security metrics reports and executive dashboards
- Stay current with emerging threats and threat intelligence sources
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis role
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel)
- Experience with network security protocols (TCP/IP, IDS/IPS, firewalls)
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and compliance frameworks (NIST, GDPR)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
