Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Azure Sentinel).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Implement and manage network security controls, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
- Investigate security breaches, determine root causes, and recommend remediation strategies.
- Enforce compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS.
- Collaborate with IT operations to patch vulnerabilities and secure endpoints.
- Document security policies and incident response procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network administration, or systems administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or Network+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with threat intelligence, malware analysis, and incident response.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
