Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security gaps and ensure compliance
- Generate detailed security reports and executive summaries for stakeholders
- Stay current on emerging threats and industry best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in a SOC or similar environment
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required (CEH preferred)
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms, network security tools, and incident response protocols
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network architecture, and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions during security incidents
