Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the SIEM environment.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with NIST and DoD standards.
- Investigate and remediate security breaches and malware infections.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Manage user access controls and privilege accounts to prevent unauthorized access.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or network security.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with security tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, FireEye, Snort).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret clearance.
