Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security events and alerts in real-time to detect and respond to cyber threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage patching schedules for enterprise systems.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents using incident response playbooks.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network security appliances.
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (GDPR, SOX).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a SOC, GRC, or security engineering role.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, and network architecture.
- Familiarity with SIEM technologies (Splunk, QRadar, or similar).
- Experience with scripting (Python or PowerShell) is highly desirable.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are a plus.
