Responsibilities
- Monitor & Analyze: Continuously monitor network traffic and security alerts using SIEM tools to identify and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of security breaches, ensuring minimal impact to business operations.
- Threat Hunting: Proactively search for hidden threats and vulnerabilities within the network infrastructure.
- Access Control: Manage and review user access rights, ensuring adherence to the principle of least privilege.
- Compliance: Ensure all security measures comply with internal policies and external regulations such as NIST, HIPAA, and GDPR.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Certification: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or equivalent professional certification.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network administration.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM (Splunk, LogRhythm, or Microsoft Sentinel), firewalls, and endpoint protection tools.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and common attack vectors.
